Trash Mountain Project – This is the organization that helped us begin to think outside of ourselves when we started the meal for every bag program back in 2014, allowing our customers to help provide well over 200,000 meals to date for kids living near a trash dump in the Dominican Republic. Christ First Counseling Center – CFCC provides Topeka and surrounding areas with compassionate Christ-centered care. They are a highly self-sustaining non-profit model, with only a small portion of their income needed from donations. Young Life Capernum – YL Capernum is a division of Young Life focused on creating Christian community for our friends with disabilities. They are experiencing wonderful growth as their ministry has expanded under the leadership of Caitlyn Halsey, founder of Dialogue Coffee House.
One of the current ways we serve our home town of Topeka, KS includes promoting community and featuring local businesses through our Tasting Room Events we host in our roasting facility. We pair up a local food provider with an abundance of our coffee. Our goal in these events is to bring a large group together to celebrate being together in person, and to enjoy excellent locally produced goods and flavors. We feel this is something worth investing our time and profits in. Our world is in desperate need of more face-time with each other and overall support of our local businesses.
