Tasting Room Event (9/16, 9AM-11AM): Curly Girl Bakes and our new coffee offering from Burundi!
We would love to have you join us on Saturday morning, 9/16, from 9-11AM (doors don’t open until 9). Help us reach more of Topeka by sharing this fun opportunity to see a coffee roastery, support a local culinary professional, and have some good community times with your friends and family. Bring a big group! 100% of the proceeds from this event support other wonderful local businesses outside of Blue Jazz.
For this event, one of Topeka’s newest, and youngest owned catering companies, Curly Girl Bakes will be offering a savory and sweet pairing of two versions of sourdough toasts made with their hand-made local crusty sourdough bread. The savory version will feature an over easy or hard local farm fresh egg from Popkess Farms in Auburn, KS, avocado, tomato, feta cheese and hot chili oil. The sweet toast will be topped with homemade Nutella, peanut butter, bananas, mini chocolate chips and a drizzle of local honey. Are you as excited for this as we are????
A brief word about Curly Girl herself, Miss Claire Grace Cogswell: We have known Claire Grace for several years now. She is one of the kindest hearted, compassionate and hard working young ladies you will find. Topeka is blessed to have her kind spirit in our midst, and now to have her as a young local professional we expect her to do wonderful things in our community. We have seen her selflessly serve others, and this new venture is just an enhancement to her future impact. We fully support her efforts in business, and hope that you will too! Contact her here for daily orders and/or event quotations: curlygirlbakestopeka@gmail.com.
Dustin will be giving a very short presentation highlighting our newest offering from Burundi that is not even on the menu yet. Be the first to taste this exquisite coffee from our mixtape series.
We have found that these events are best enjoyed when you arrive at some point within the first 15 minutes of our opening, grab a coffee and settle in for a bit, and then grab some food whenever the line subsides enough to jump in there. Make it a casual time of conversation over bites of local food with your friends. Food will be served until 10AM (we want our guest chefs to be able to also enjoy some conversation and community with us for that last hour).
We will have our usual complementary coffee set out, and the cash/credit espresso bar will be open with your favorite hand crafted cold brew or latte. It's been awhile, but our good friend Jaiden Roberts will be back on the espresso machine serving as your barista for the morning. Be sure to say "HI" and help us welcome him back to the event staff.
As always, lots of Topeka fun, community, love and togetherness over great flavors! Looking forward to seeing you all.
No cancellations/refunds after 9/12. Feel free to offer unused reservations to your friends. Share this product link with anybody you purchase tickets for so they can be in the know!

Blue Jazz is a second generation, family owned coffee company. A love for God, people, and a pursuit of excellence in all we do continues to drive us forward. As a priority, we consider how to best add value to our fellow humans around us while curating the best tasting coffees the world has to offer!
One way we add value is through our program to support Trash Mountain Project's work in the Dominican Republic.
Drink Coffee. Feed Hungry Kids.
When you buy a bag of Blue Jazz Coffee from any of our available outlets, you are also paying for a meal for a child in need. For every bag of coffee that leaves our warehouse we purchase a meal for one of our kids through a close partnership with Trash Mountain Project. To date, we have been able to provide over 150,000 meals through the program.
