Blue Jazz Tasting Room Event: "Venezuelan Breakfast Bowl with Chef Luis Guillen" (April 2, 2022)
On April 2nd, from 9AM-11AM, Chef Luis Guillen of Luis’ Place, located at 5th & Kansas Avenue’s NW corner (down the stairwell) joins us again with his traditional Venezuelan cuisine. This time, he will be preparing a Venezuelan Breakfast Bowl, complete with Shredded Beef, Black Beans, Avocado Salsa, Cheese and a freshly prepared Arepa. Those of you who joined us last October already know how delicious these fresh Arepas are!
We will of course have plenty of complementary Blue Jazz Coffee to enjoy while you hang out with friends and family, and the espresso bar will be open for the purchase of lattes and cold brew. We might even work on a new coffee release for you guys :). That’s the beauty of showing up to our events. You can be cutting edge and know about all our new stuff before anybody else in town.
Come cozy up with us and make new friends while we celebrate another wonderful Topeka business. Limited seating, so get your reservations in now. $13.00 per person, purchased right here. Reservations will close on or before April 1, and also Non-refundable after May 30th. This price includes your Venezuelan Breakfast Bowl and all the hot freshly brewed coffee you care to drink. Coffee to take home is available for purchase, and if you can’t live without our new Whirlybird Espresso Rub we’ve been featuring at our recent events, be sure to pick up a jar.
Event Location: Blue Jazz Coffee Roasters: 6540 SE Johnston St., Topeka, KS 66619. Head toward the water tower, and park wherever you can! There are large lots within a short walk North and South from our facility if you can’t find a space in our lot. Enter our building by the Blue Jazz flags. Please let us know if this poses a problem for your group and we will accommodate.
Drink Coffee. Feed Hungry Kids.
When you buy a bag of Blue Jazz Coffee from any of our available outlets, you are also paying for a meal for a child in need. For every bag of coffee that leaves our warehouse we purchase a meal for one of our kids through a close partnership with Trash Mountain Project. To date, we have been able to provide over 126,636 meals through the program.
We love that you guys allow us to make this type of commitment on your behalf. If you're not with us yet, come along for a great ride. We firmly believe that it's good to be a part of things much bigger than ourselves. Problems that are seemingly unsolvable can be solved if enough of us do a small part in the bigger story.
